I love this air purifier. It is quiet and can be put placed off the floor on a bookcase, dresser top or the top shelf because of its compact size. I have other ionic air cleaners and one that requires a filter, but I really dislike the noise from air filters.

The first time I saw this unit, I felt it just too big to fit unobtrusively in my living room. Fortunately, the air is pulled in through the front grill and discharged from the top of the unit so I was able to push the it up against the wall to save space.
I can watch TV at normal volume levels with this unit sitting three feet from me when on the lowest setting. There are indicators to tell you when the filter needs replacing. I think it is great. And I really appreciate it has a 5 year limited warranty.

I really have confusion in HEPA home filters. From True HEPA to “Hepa Type” and this one is supposedly better than “Hepa Type” but not as good as True Hepa.

Honeywell QuietClean Compact Tower Air Purifier with Permanent Filter, HFD-010
My larger Honeywell Tower had burned out the motor bearings so I bought this one as a replacement. Compared to my old Honeywell, this new one is much quieter and filters a great amount of dander produced by my small parrots out of the air. I think this unit really works well. I’m glad to have it.

Honeywell Pure HEPA Round Air Purifier, 50150-N
I ordered this one because there were many good reviews and it declaimed that it is the new permanent HEPA filter. However, I was fully disappointed once I got it. It was indeed the 50150, but obviously an older model.
